Lodging Caveat

A caveat is used to protect your interests, so that the property cannot be dealt with unless you agree. Reasons you may lodge a caveat over a property include:
- Purchase of property – until settlement
- Breakdown of relationship – until financial settlement is complete
- Loan agreement – such as loan given by you (eg to friend or family member)

Removal of Caveat
