Selling your home, investment property or vacant land

When selling your home, investment property or vacant land, not only engaging a good real estate agent is important it is also important to engage the correct legal representative to prepare your Contract of Sale of Land and Vendor’s Statement (Section 32). It is your legal representative’s responsibility to obtain the required information. Failure to make certain disclosures in the Contract and Vendor’s Statement may lead to a claim against you.

Scott legal charges a fixed fee plus disbursements covering the start to end process of conveyancing including:

  • Duties Online via State Revenue office
  • Notifying the relevant council, rating authority and body corporate of change in ownership
