We refer to our previous articles of 11 May 2020 and 13 October 2020 about the Commercial Tenant Relief Scheme provided by the COVID-19 Omnibus (Emergency Measures) (Commercial Leases and Licences) Regulations 2020 and the COVID-19 Omnibus (Emergency Measures) (Commercial Leases and Licences) Miscellaneous Amendments Regulations 2020 (the Commercial Tenancy Relief Scheme).
Extension Period
The Commercial Tenancy Relief Scheme has been extended to 28 March 2021 in relation to eligible small businesses for:
- Rent relief
- Freezes on rent increases
- Moratorium on evictions
